He was quite clear about NAFTA which was amazing to me. Remember most of us are built and in storage. So he said some kind of approval. There are loads of parts from Mexico and Canada. But if you understand NAFTA or anyone else does maybe they could explain what approval they mean.

I don’t know. Just illuminating the theory provided as plausible. When tariffs and taxes are involved everything can get complicated.

Agreed. When I spoke to jeep they said the vehicles went from Ottawa to Ohio. So who knows. But I really find the whole thing more bs. Today they said by beginning of June. Maybe they should just say nothing. Or maybe tell the truth. How can this be good for fca? Unless the problem is more then they want us to know.

I've been told to keep my eyes out for early June as well.

North American Free Trade Agreement. You might want to look up the fact that under it only 60% of parts need to be built in North America and by Trump threatening to tighten the rules, he would force more parts to be built here. Like the engine. You know, the thing currently built in Italy in question here? So yeah, it's all related but I'm sure that has nothing to do with global trade. Please tell me more...

But I was waiting to learn how the North American trade agreement between USA, Mexico and Canada affects an Turbo Engine built in Italy on a completely different Continent - the European Continent.
