I ordered on Dec 28 (PST JLR) and yesterday they told me I was scheduled for mid June build. Its bs!

I ordered 1-24-18!!!! That means my build will be July and delivery Aug. The first and last time giving FCA my money!!!!

My birthday. I ordered on 1-1 as an early gift to myself

I will join you as I ordered 1-11-18 We order early and get screwed. I can not understand or
believe this is really how they do business. I want to go
to my dealer and order another one again JUST TO CANCEL we they get it!!!

I have had an opportunity to review your vehicle order status and the information provided in our prior email remains unchanged. At this time all models equipped with the Premium Sunrider Soft Top are being scheduled based on the order they were received in our system.

I ordered on 12/7/17...2 days after order banks for 2-doors opened.

Well I hope the latest info I have is true. I just got a message from someone who works at FCA that my Jeep is the paint booth right now. After being told twice it was built and twice getting excited I will wait for further evidence of it's build for any more "woo hoo's".

Nicole emailed me yesterday that I am in paint...today cryptostickers emailed the build as “found”!! Looks I am finally moving somewhere. Can only hope that the delivery is done in a reasonable amount of time. JL 2dr Rubicon, red, matching hard top and fenders, infotainment, auto, headliners, V-6, tow, LED, Black Leather, cold weather, steel bumpers...think that’s it.

Well, picked up my 2 dr. today @ noon. I just posted a pic of it alongside of the White '14 Sahara, I traded in. The Rubi JL had not been cleaned / detailed per my request. Had the JL up on the lift and all looked aok in regard to welds, etc.

WEIRD thing .... Door emblem states the JL was built on 5/18/2018. That's right, built 5/18/18 and today is only the 15th of May...........

Got it home and installed Mopar 3rd light relocation kit, WeatherTech mats, Front license plate holder, AntennaX antenna... around the time I finished that the torrential rains started.

Rubi is mint. No sign of anything wrong. Took it for a ride and noticed no wandering and no unusual wind noise. Hardtop gutter system is poor, as when you open the door in a downpour, water goes into foot well.

Took it for a 30 mile trip for dinner. JL 2 dr. caught lots of attention. Went past another Jeep dealership and they flocked out of the show room to get a quick glimpse of a 2dr. JL Rubicon.

Will take more pics, etc. and post here tomorrow night. GEEEEEZ, the JL Rubi 2dr. is a beauty to say the least.

I posted a few days ago that there was a JL Sport S at a dealer in London Ontario. That dealer still has 16 JLUs and about as many JKUs that have been sitting for weeks. I stopped by today and that lone 2 door is sold after a few days.
I don't get why FCA is not supporting the 2 doors. This shows me people want them.

This picture really shows the difference from the JK to the JL in regards to door widow size, profile and rake of both windshield and overall stance. Very impressive, think I’m gonna like my 2 door JL when it shows up

Great that you have it delivered. This pic just shows that Jeep did a great job with the design, especially the Rubicon. It looks much more aggressive than your 2014 Sahara.

While we all have legitimate complaints about the wait and poor communication....it could have been much worse.....Jeep could have screwed up the design and capabilities. Instead they improved on it in almost every aspect.

I wasn't really tempted to switch to a 4 door but your pic just reinforces how great the 2 door is....and it will be worth the wait for all the rest of us on this thread. Your 2 door looks fantastic! Enjoy.

Congratulations to all of you who have received your 2 doors. Please have enough fun in them for all of us still waiting. I've been enjoying this thread since I ordered 2 door sport s everything but wheels asd for wife's 50th. Birthday is 3 weeks away and ordered 1-13-2018. Thought, I'm good. So much for planning ahead. Dealer texted me last week saying ship date 5-30, hope? FCA emailed me today with build date 5-28. She won't have it for girls weekend at the Jersey Shore for her 50th but excited still. FYI 35 within 150 miles of Doylestown Pa either in transit or on lot and I know my dealer had 2 on lot that are no longer listed. Stay positive my friends
