What did the rust proofing cost you. My dealer asked me yesterday if I wanted it.

$500. They did it yesterday because my vehicle arrived! I was able to go visit her and make sure things were in order. Looks great! The rustproofing is quite different than what they did with my JK back in '06. For this one they coated everything in a black substance. Even the shocks! I was a little disappointed by that but the guy was showing me the coating everywhere and said it's lifetime guaranteed for whatever that's worth. I pick it up today.

View attachment 42874 Finally picked up my new baby. All I can say is WOW! I'm in love. Not quite the orange I was hoping for but I still do really love it. I love that it still drives like the jeeps I'm used to, stiff and tight. Love the power between the 3.6 and the 6 speed. The 8.4 it's amazing, can't wait to enjoy all it has to offer. Only drove 100kms today but it was impressive! They knocked this one out of the ballpark.

Congrats! You beat me by a day! I had to wait an extra day while they got the rustproofing done so I pick it up today. Was able to take a good tour of it though. Was a bit of a sad night though as I dropped off my old Jeep at my buddy's place. At least she's going to a good home. Served me well for 11.5 years.

Congratulations! You might be the first Punk'n owner in Canada. Well... at least on this forum.

My Punk'n JLUR arrived at the dealer yesterday morning according the the forum tracking service. Expecting a call today or tomorrow to pick it up.

I'm pretty sure it'll be the first Punk'n in my town of Canmore. Which doesn't say much. Haha!

Nothing like a Friday buzz kill! Got notification from Jeep last week with an est. delivery between 5/10-5/14. Because I’m extremely sceptical of Jeep’s customer service, I checked in today and learned that the delivery is now “Delayed” with not est. delivery to the dealership. Pure insanity I tell you!

Exciting! Your specs are NEARLY to my SAHARA! My husband and I tossed the Rubicon /Sahara back and forth ..... adding all we could to the Sahara ....Waiting for my delivery update as well. We had last minute additions after reviewing the spec sheet noticing missing items... but all should be set and on its way!

Yes! We ordered Punk’n hoping for a more burnt look! But seeing what the true color is thanks to everyone’s posts- I think I will love mine too once I have it in front of me! This will be our 3rd Jeep Wrangler. (95, 99, now 2018!) The first 2 are still in Great condition!!!! But each has its own personality per se! Glad to hear you love your new toy!

Blank canvas indeed. Good choice if you want to make your own Sandstorm. Love the color. Even more now that I've finally seen it. I'm jealous and hope you continue to post your progress through the changes ahead.

My JLUR finally arrived at my dealership!

I was so nervous because I ordered the color without seeing it in person. I knew it wasn't anything like the original marketing pic but many of the pictures I've seen had me puzzled because it was so similar to Firecracker red.

Those concerns were quickly put to rest upon seeing my vehicle. I think someone said this earlier but this is a screaming orange. A bold take no prisoners orange. One which makes pedestrians stop dead in their tracks and think just one thing -- orange!

I won't post any pics because they look more reddish than orange and because you're probably bored of seeing pics of Jeeps in the dealer lot.

I'll take my Rubicon into the mountains tomorrow and hopefully remember to take a pic!

I agree with everything except one thing: we never get tired of seeing pics of Jeeps! Keep 'em coming!
