I reached out to ROAM and have no response. Was willing to buy yesterday and wait but given they're not responding to emails from me/others here, Ecom website not working or have a phone number to call and talk to a human being - I'm moving on - the LOD guys are accessible and respond. I know its more expensive but at least I can reach them and actually buy something. Don't know why ROAM seemed to go dark. I liked their design.

Did you actually get a confirmation from Roam? I am going to shop elsewhere. It has been more than a month since I first reached out.

I ordered a pair last week and got my shipping number yesterday and they should be delivered tomorrow. Anthony at Roam has been extremely responsive to my emails so I would recommend reaching out to him to see when the next batch will be ready for shipping.

Ya, I was 100% going to buy it, but raising it $100, nevermind, I will stick with the rock rails now.
Just don’t think it’s right to allow some to order, then raise it so fast. More options will be coming out to choose from. Pretty disappointed.

Agreed. I was ready to buy at $299, but "sorry, you JUST missed the price, now it is $399 AND they are back ordered". Not a good feeling to have it rubbed in that you just missed and have to pay 33% higher price. $325, sure, but not $399 big jump in price. I'll wait and look at other ones when they come out.

I just installed the NFAB as well. Took all but 40 minutes by myself. Wife and kids think they are a perfect height. Here’s a pic from the back in case anyone wants to see how far they stick out.

How far down do the Nerf rails drop the clearance? Or is that just an optical illusion?

Roam from the beginning had on their site the price was always going to be listed at $399. The price for the steps at $299 was the sale price at initial launch only, so I don’t think it’s their fault you missed the initial sale price.

I ordered some parts so that I can wire the lights on my Wife's ROAM steps. Amazon is supposed to deliver the parts Sunday, if they arrive early enough I will do a small write up on how I did it. I have pre-production steps, so my write-up may vary slightly from yours.
