Just picked up my 392 XR yesterday and drove it home about 500 miles. Thing drives like a dream! Really shocking how much tighter the steering is compared to my 2018 JLUR.

Anyway, was underneath it this morning and spotted this green grease inside the front driver side wheel.

Thoughts?

Damn, take a photo and send to your dealership. It seems that the CV boot clamp is not crimped all the way.

What @sstuner said. Your CV boot has a manufacturing defect and needs to be taken back to the dealership so that they can repair it.

Grease from the boot. I would clean it up and look for More grease after driving. Might have had too much grease in it. If after cleaning it up it doesn’t leak more I wouldn’t worry. But I am not a go to the dealer person. Going to the dealer is a major investment of time and fuel for me, so I literally never go.

that looks like a torn or loose cv boot. take a picture and send it to the dealer you bought it from. then wipe the grease off and see if it has a torn spot in it. If so have the dealer replace it

To me it looks like the metal band that goes around the boot is gone

That's an "end of ownership" leak. Hand over the jeep to me and I'll make sure you never see it again.

Clean it up and drive some more. If still leaking take back to dealer. Easy fix.

This would be the most rational comment, except that it's clearly a catastrophic failure and the OP should just sell it to me for a 50% loss and be glad that he got out from under this.
