Your FM reception was just as good as with the original? Right now I only listen to Sirius but once my trial is over I will go back to FM.

Does the Dead Pedal work with the floor mat/weathertech mat? I was looking for one that didn't sit directly on the floor so I can still slide the mat under it.

I have the Quadtrac dead pedal and WeatherTech mats and have no issues. You can adjust the angle of it to be just off the mat and then tighten the bolt enough for it to stay in place.

I have the Gibson fob holder and I love it. My only "gripe" with it is the belt clip is SUPER tight. Can make it a little difficult to get onto and off of cotton/athletic shorts.

Yes. I have the Hooke which is a similar design (https://www.amazon.com/Hooke-Road-2018-2019-Wrangler-Rubicon/dp/B07RBSQ5JM) and the Weathertech mats. Fits perfectly, though it *does* make removing the mats a bit of a pain.

Had it for a few months now and doesn't seem to be wearing the mat thin under it, either.

Absolutely agree here! Gibson's work is very impressive! I own the red stitched, black key fob holder the the belt clip allows me to clip that ginormous key to my belt and it holds tight (I'm a runner and having things in your pocket is uncomfortable). The phone holster is also a tight solid mounting on the console and holds the phone even when wheeling off road. Definitely worth it.

About an 2 hour's ago, my final release @Threedom , Model S+ fob was delivered to me.

I have been testing THREEDOM (DI Labs) aftermarket fobs for the last few months... testing included the testing of a prototype, S+ fob...

The prototype S+ had some significant shortcomings and I told the THREEDOM Team about the shortcomings I saw.... ..... and HOLLY CHITT, the THRREDOM Team with the final Model S+ with it's retractable key, has addressed those shortcomings and well Nailed it so to speak...

Geeeeez, the Model S+ , is terrific..... Why could FCA not send out a fob such as this with the JL and JT.

YES, all the THREEDOM aftermarket fob offerings are real nice.... well designed and more.... and have been selling and been enjoyed / used by many....

For those that did not go with an aftermarket fob because of no retractable key.... WELL, here ya go... and it is a winner to say the least! https://mythreedom.com/

Best Mods I got for less than $100

Plastidip for the Grille to cover up damaged paint: ~$10 worth.

12,000 lb Badland winch: $50 secondhand (but the new synthetic line and winch mounting plate were more than 100)

And finally the Rubicon takeoffs I got from @chevymitchell and @mgroeger (oddly enough from the same Jeep) Shocks/Springs and Floormats.

I took a look at the S+ on their website, but the key ring loop look pretty skinny. Does it seem strong enough? I'd hate to lose my key because the loop broke off....Maybe they can make it thicker?

Yes. I predominantly use sirius as well, but there is a local fm show that I do listen to on occasion and I have had no interruptions or signal issues at all.

That key loop is very very stout. You are not going to just twist or break it off.

During my testing I tried to break /damage that loop and could not do so.

Sure, put the fob in a vice and then latch on to the loop with a plier, yeah you could probably ... maybe break it off.
