KAYAK MOUNT FOR A SOFT TOP !!!
I have a 2 door soft top. I noticed a pair of unused hard top bolt holes in my upper frame rails, so I found the proper threaded bolts at Home Depot, cut a 1x2 to the right length, and now I can use my kayak racks. The racks hold the kayak secure left to right and I tied the front and the back of the kayak to my front and back tow hooks. It was stable at 70mph. The back of the kayak rides on the folded back metal bar from the front of the sunrider.
Obviously this only works with sunrider open, and/or top fully down (at which point it would ride lower, haven't tried it with the windows out and top down).

I've posted this in other threads... This is probably my favorite FREE mod.

I did this on a truck many years ago, but could never get the sticky adhesive off. Any success with getting that stuff off?

How did you remove the sticker? Any suggestions?

Use a hairdryer to heat up the glue. Peel the sticker off at 180 degrees. Work slowly. It will look like the underlying vinyl is pulling up with the sticker. Don't worry, the vinyl will quickly shrink back down onto the visor. There is a slight visable "shadow" as can be seen in the picture but the residue was never sticky. I honestly don't notice it and I'm pretty OCD about this stuff. Way better than the nanny-sticker.

FWIW, I peeled the stickers off when the Jeep was fairly new.

I havent read trough all the pages but as i sit hear drinking my coffee while listening to the radio before i drag myself into work…

Got these for Christmas this year. Theyre a whopping $50 each but they work amazing and are soooo useful. I always have two drinks at least. My wife calls me the cupholder hog, so she got me these lol.

while offroading i can put the radio there for easy/quick access.
