While spec’ing a Jeep out on Jeep’s website there is no longer an option for the upgraded Mopar floor mats? …. Interesting. Will they be standard in 2022 models maybe?

I heard they were delaying production. Jeeps were sitting for weeks because of the floor mats. I'd bet they nixxed that option just to make Jeeps move.

They are on backorder right now. I ordered my Wrangler on 9/1 and my dealer told me then that he couldnt add them. Some people who ordered with them are getting build sheets/stickers with the mats deleted and credited.
I saw one on Autotrader yesterday and the mats were listed on the window sticker but as a credit.

I ordered a Willys, mats come with that trim, I assume they have to reserve them for that trim.

If you shop it out, you can buy the Mopar rubber mats cheeper on line vs factory. That way you still have the carpet mats as a backup. If you order rubber mats from the factory the carpet mats are deleted. Personally I prefer Rugged Ridge floor mats over the Mopar. Less expensive, same protection and better looking.
I ordered an 80th Anniversary Ed this year that came with berber mats. I swapped
them out with the Rugged Ridge mats. When it comes time to sell the 80th,
I'll have the new unused berber mats to replace used Rugged Ridge mats with.
I also ordered a Grand Cherokee this year without the rubber mats. I Saved
$50 on the Mopar rubber mats purchasing them aftermarket vs factory.

Rugged Ridge, Quadratec and Bestop floor liners for the JL are very very similar...

YES, they look great, hold up well, are not prone to scuffing/marring... and the foot to liner feel lets say, is very good. Many here have gone this route versus the factory rubber offering or instead of WeatherTechs or similar.

Only thing I do not care for in regard to the Bestop, Rugged Ridge and Quadratec liner is the gaudy logo on the liner..... and if you remove the logo you end up with two holes in the liner... 8-(

I left the logo on each liner but covered it with a quality vinyl sticker.

I’m not surprised they’re gone; I was surprised that floor mats were an option to begin with. I always felt that’s just a parts department purchase when you get your new car.

Despite the nice weather this weekend, I know snows a comin’, I had to order a set of aftermarket Mopar knock offs for my JLU Islander, which only came with carpets. The knock offs look identical in terms of pattern and plugs and lips to OEM, apart from the missing JEEP logo. We will see about fit and finish when they arrive….

I buy Willys and they are standard on them, I did see where they were removed from the 2021 models that they were an option, but on the 2022 models they are back on the order forums. I did also see some Willys on dealer lots that had a $165 credit on the window stickers as they are part of the Williys package when they we not available at the time of production. My personal thought is I want the factory slush mats and not other brands, so if I have to wait to get them, I will.
