Seems like that would be pretty late in the process. Maybe by the time mine gets that far it won't be backlogged. Also, maybe the dealer's offroad store will give me a free set of five aftermarket 18" wheels, and my bank will forgive the principal on my loan, and my daughter (who just got her driving permit this morning) won't wreck it in the first 18 months. One can always hope....

Hi, gang. ThirtyOne directed me over here from the NC thread. Ordered a Sting Gray Sport S on 4/17. Build attached. Dealer said 6-8 weeks, but obviously I expect more like 8-12. Even though I've seen that there are threads on order tracking (all full up), I'm really clueless as to how to track my order. Or who Sergio is, if it's not this guy:

You don't have to go through Sergio to track your order.

The easiest thing, though not most reliable, is to use Jeep Chat. Just google jeep chat and you will find it. Just ask for your status and they will give it to you. You need to have a VON which you can get from your dealer.

From there, you will get a VIN when you go to D status. I was able to get that from Jeep Chat about 2 weeks after I ordered but it should be within a few days now.

After that they can check your progress. For me, they were always very accurate and matched the other tracking methods I had. Some people they have not been as good.

The most accurate information will come from your dealer. Once you get to D1, call your dealer and they will have an estimated ship date. That should actually be your build date.

Estimated ship 4/26

7 day build is record setting and I find it VERY hard to believe, but could this mean things are ramping up at the factory? Or maybe I ordered just the right build at just perfect time? Lol

I ordered 4/16 (D status 4/17, D1status on 4/20) and was told eta to dealer of 5/11 from dealer yesterday but I believe according to a lot of the others here that the eta from dealer is actually the factories estimated build date.

Yea from what I understand estimated ship date is just that, when it will be ready to ship + transit time.

Still 1 week is nuts IMO

Most people have experienced the estimated ship date being the day it goes into framing. Mine was 4/11 and it was framed 4/12, completed and released from the plant on 4/16.
