On 7/23 Dealer provided estimated ship date: 8/4/2021
On 7/29 Dealer provided an updated ship date: 8/5/2021
On 7/30/2021 received email from customer care about estimated delivery to the dealer: Week of 9/6/2021
On 8/2, chat responded with some better news: "Your vehicle is currently in the frame stage of the build process. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."
On 8/4, received a build sheet and chat confirmed that vehicle is in inspection.
On 8/5, dealer provided ETA: 8/16/21-8/25/21 and confirmed the car is shipped.
On 8/6, received a window sticker.
On 8/13, visited the dealer to discuss my trade-in and they showed my that JLY is on the truck now and based on the google map within 50-60 miles from dealership.
On 8/16: car was ready to be picked up
On 8/21: final pick up

Love it! My Hydro Blue Willy's is ordered and hoping it comes by mid september!

I ordered a 2door hydro blue rubicon on 8/16 and this thread is tormenting my soul. I see some people get theirs fast and then others seem to be waiting forever. Which one will I be, nobody knows. At least I have my Jk to drive in the meantime.

Yea I ordered in June and see tons of the July and now August going thru and sitting here like will I ever see mine or what lol. Worst is when they are like oh yea it's because of the tow pack but 30 diesels roll off from July with the damn tow pack. Like come on jeep, get your shit together

Is yours going to be an Xtreme Recon version or regular Rubicon? I had no choice if I wanted the V6 as they are currently only making Xtreme Recon versions.

That’s what I heard yesterday about only being able to order Xtreme Recon Rubicon. I wonder why? Must be prioritizing 2022s.

Sounds like a nice ride. I think 8 weeks from order to pickup sounds reasonable. Wishing you good fortune on that timeline. Keep us in the loop on your build progress.

just checked in with my dealer today and was told I hit D status and was given a VIN number. I understand that I could be in D a status for months potentially, but excited none the less! Hoping they’re focused on clearing their ‘21 backlog before starting their ‘22 production.

2022 Orders don't even open until some time in October.

Dealer texted me that I’m in trim! Ordered 7/14.

4 door Sport S Snazberry. 3.6 pentastar, automatic trans, hard top. Everything else standard. Getting close!

I've wondered the same. I got a Willy's, that package comes with the LED lights. (A MUST) because the regular headlights are like driving around with two candles. I heard from a friend who purchased a Gladiator in June and ordered LED lights from the dealership to be installed later, they are backordered until December! Apparently something about switching vendors or something. I also wanted the safety package. Yes, I want the little blind spot indicator. So I was wondering if that was holding them up. THEN, I saw a dealership get a Gecko green with exactly what I wanted on mine, and this was on Aug 2nd. Also a couple others in the forum here who ordered Willy's both before and after me and thought WTF?! So who knows what the real reason is at this point. I am only days away from throwing in the towel, getting my deposit back and going to the dealership that has an 80th anniversary fully loaded black one on the lot. Its been sitting there for over a month. Not my Hydro Blue I ordered or want but, I'd probably settle, because I am getting tired of the run around BS answers.

Usually the cars in the ordering productions are the higher end trims since usually the have a lot of lower trims at the dealership however due to demand and other circumstances all the lower trims are scarce and now Jeep is producing most of the jeeps via orders both high trims like Rubicon and base model sports and willys

Just have patience. Don't compromise. I'm saying this as someone who is very anxious waiting and makes impulsive decisions that end up bad.
