I ordered, then dropped by my dealer a couple of weeks later and got my vin. I didn’t get in on tracking. I’ve checked Jeep Shat once, and Sergio twice.
By my last update from him, by now I should be in inspection, or maybe JB. I don’t know if it’s better knowing or not knowing.

I think it is better knowing in case things don't look right you can go back to your dealer and find out what is going on.

For example, there is a Sting-Gray that has been in E for several days. That's not normal. I would have called my dealer on that.

So I began buying stuff today.

I took a chance and bought the Die-Tech mirror relocation brackets and some mirrors to go with them. The brackets are made for the JK but they go in the door hinges and I am hoping they will fit the JL.

I also bought a Dirty Dog 2-piece shade.

If the Mopar black grill was available to order I would have ordered it too.

I agree. It is pretty sad. Google image Sting-Gray Jeep Wrangler. It's just a bunch of random Jeep pictures from this forum then eventually a picture of @Lurvis33 with his camera.

I like the idea of the black front grille, but I'm concerned that it won't look quite right. There were a couple of photos of a white JL with a black front, like in the product page, but that must have been painted. The actual part is completely black, including the trim that goes from the side of the lights down along the bottom...(where the hood meets the grille). I'm concerned that this will not look nearly as good as we think.

Instead, I think I would rather change the inserts to have red accents, like this link:
