Just did a Jeep Chat check. Told 2nd week of April to begin again:

Basically sounds like Jeep Chat has no clue what's going on, and they are making it up as they go. Hopefully the dealers are more accurate with their info.

My dealer said I am the first of his 2 Door Pre-sale or Stock orders to go to D1 so I am trying to not get too excited.. It could just as easily be a mistake.Just did a Jeep Chat check. Told 2nd week of April to begin again:

I have no idea.. I have not been given any reason to have any kind of expectation other than my D1 status update this morning. No Scheduled dates provided for production start or shipping est. We will get them at some point.. Maybe..

That is my guess as well. If I had to put money on it, my sense is that we will see the very first deliveries made around April 30, however, we probably won't see a steady stream of 2 door deliveries until mid-late May.

I have a double problem when it comes to expectations... not only is it a 2-door, but I have all of the weird options, like premium soft top, 2.0t, LEDs, etc, that I've heard have their own delays.

Jeep chat is telling half the people one thing and the other half something else. when I ordered my 2014 rubi there were plenty of rumors then too the only difference was 2drs and 4drs were going thru production at the same time. I just say this I was in d status for like 40 days give or take a few . then in one day I went thru every status there is and in one week to shipping then the next day my dealer called me to say my jeep was in. this was when they had the tracking web page. point is you'll never know where your jeep really is until you get that phone call from the dealer.

FCA has about 2500 dealerships in USA, plus tons of foreign - i wonder if they’re doing a batch run of showroom 2-doors to iron out kinks, meaning not drivable versions for display, view, and ordering clarifications
