Was at my dealer yesterday, 3/26/18, two reps were in there and they both said 2 doors are being produced. I asked D or D1 status production or actually going down the production line with welding and bolting on of parts. Their answer was going down the production line with complete production manufacture.

Only thing I can say is, I still have my doubts; but we can only hope for the best. We should positively know very soon.

that’s the best news i’ve heard all week on this - plus the note above about jeepnchat saying something similar

hope to see systems update toward end of week or next week and hear about some status changes! i wonder if they’re doing a run of 2.0 to get to dealers to demo and showcase

Jeep chat told me 2 door production is scheduled to start yesterday to Friday. Hope he was right mines a premium top so I still get to wait till May

I also heard the 3.6 was mixed in with the initial onset of production. Again I have my doubts when all I get is hearsay from my dealer. They could be receiving incorrect info which we know has been rampant since the beginning.

It’s not negative, it’s realistic. I’d rather have that than get my hopes up for nothing. And speaking of that, I’m on a build sheet tracker. There are no found build sheets for any two doors on the spreadsheet.
Maybe they’re doing everything on the down low & boom, they’ll just appear! Or maybe it’s all just another wild goose chase.

I'm thinking, hoping, that the FCA dept. in charge of updating the various databases concerning tracking for the customer isn't being updated. Consider the Jeep . com build where a few days ago you still couldn't select the 2.0 turbo as an option.

Yes, I'm with you; staying un-optimistic.
