That's a very expensive "Sport". The problem with the special editions based on lower trim levels is if the vehicle is in an accident and totaled, the insurance company will only value it as a Sport trim level. We ran into this when our Black Bear Edition (also built on a Sport) was totaled and they said, the VIN says it's a Sport & Sports are valued at this much. It's one of the times I was happy we had GAP insurance because the Jeep was only 4 months old and they paid out $8k less than we owed.

Not bad, About $9k less then my Rubi XR order. Probably would have made more sense for me to order this, only options lacking, Sot & leather I ordered. I honestly don’t plan on rock crawling anytime soon in Florida. Hmmm ? even if I forfeit my order & lose my $1k dp. I’ll still be way ahead. Very tempting actually!

They have the Sunrider, so I assume that they don't have Freedom Panels. I, of course, could be wrong. If they have both (??) then they'd have the Freedom Panels installed.

So the High Tide package adds $12,000...and still doesn't include keyless entry, garage door opener or heated seats...? :surprised:
I'm not sure what gives you that impression. Remote Proximity Keyless Entry, Universal Garage Door Opener, and Cold Weather Group are on the build sheet. People obviously require heated seats for the beach ;).

Beaches around here get frosty.

Technology Group, Convenience Group and Cold Weather Group all need to be added separately, in addition to the $12,000 High Tide package.

Jeep’s greed knows no bounds.

When my dad sold new trucks he would always say “If it doesn’t affect sales numbers, they wont change anything”. Right now Wranglers and Ram trucks are the geese laying the golden eggs for Stellantis. Hopefully they don’t cook their geese.

I ran into that issue on a Nissan Cube we had, luckily my wife whose cube it was had the window sticker.
Once I gave that to the adjuster problem solved.
Save your window stickers.
By the that car being totaled, no one got hurt was a happy day.
We received way more than I could have gotten in a trade in
No one wants a cube.

We stay at our beach until sunset. Tourists line up across the bridge for hours leaving early. Wind gets soft and cool right afterwards and 85 degrees feels cold in a bathing suit without top and doors driving home.

We had the window sticker as well but they said the black bear pkg was an “option” and gave pennies on the dollar for the options. They said we can only go by the vin & the book. Not a pleasant experience for sure.

2018 Unlimited JL SS, ordered 2022 Rubicon XR
With the shortage and delays of Jeep parts, Stellantis/Jeep is screwing those who ordered their Rubicon XRs in OCT/NOV/DEC of 2021 to rush/cannibalize and fulfill the build orders for their overpriced mall crawling High Tide for their Florida beach bash in April.

I agree if you replace "Rubicon XRs" with "Wranglers". The screwing over isn't limited to people that ordered a Rubicon XR.
