I've daily drove a jk willys and now a jl Willy's and no issues unless you care about gas mileage, although from what I hear the Bronco is worse.
If I had to do it over I'd get the Willy's XR and not look back
It wasn't available in 2021.
Only have a soft top as that's how I roll in Maine with this wrangler Willy's and MA with our last Willy's so no not this time not ever.
Both jeeps have only been parked outside and the heat works great
Call me a traditionalist.
I would also put in a review on dealerrater.com as in my experience most dealers monitor that.
Tell the whole story including no call back.
Dealers hate getting a 1 on that site.
I live in Maine also Boston.
We are on our second Wrangler with a soft top and over 7 New England winters.
The soft top is great, especially on the JL.
No problem with warmth in winter despite parking outside only.
Just get the premium soft top and enjoy.
I ran into that issue on a Nissan Cube we had, luckily my wife whose cube it was had the window sticker.
Once I gave that to the adjuster problem solved.
Save your window stickers.
By the that car being totaled, no one got hurt was a happy day.
We received way more than I could have gotten in a...
We ordered our 2021 Willy's beginning of Feb 2021 dealer said 8 to 12 weeks plan on 12 we picked it up March 31 it took 8 weeks.
Never did get the info from the dealer that I remember to follow the build and probably wouldn't have if I did.
The shit was hitting the fan then but I thought it went...
Sorry I fault the dealer here.
The salesmen took the info and took on the responsibility at that point as a representative for the dealer.
Despite what people are saying here given the times we are in and how quickly a dealer will sell a customer out for a buck I don't trust the dealer here and...
Have a 2021 Willys, love driving it, it's just fun even the mile and a half to the gym at 5am.
Ours is convertible.
If I had to do it over and had it been available I'd get the xr version, maybe trade it for a 2022 if values hold.
It's a dream anyway.
My dealer last spring was great, we bought an ordered Willys with exactly what we wanted, finance guy came out to say hi as we were paying cash, sales rep took the check and showed us the dealer invoice on the car so I knew how well we did which I already knew thanks to the forum
Then a month...
I live in Maine now before that Massachusetts, first jeep was a two door soft top to me that's a Wrangler, now after move to Maine got a four door as we needed it for extra space plus easy access for the dog, still a soft top because again it's how a jeep should be. Both are/were daily drivers...
First I agree on the Hemi for 75k 99 mph is an insult. The gas mileage is to be expected you don't buy a Hemi anything for good gas mileage.
Now to the 4xe the all electric range in this day and age is disappointing I would have expected better.
The same for me holds for the highway mpg and...
Just got a Willys JLU with the six and a soft top love it so far. Haven't taken windows off yet too cold here in Maine have had to open rear window a couple of times to put stuff in, it's way easier than the JK Willys with soft top we traded in
Had that in city of Boston always parked outside...
I always give an honest review let the chips fall where they may.
We just bought a new jeep which we ordered from Central Jeep in Waterville Maine. The price was great at 5% under dealer cost, no doc fees which is dealer policy.
The sales guy was great gave me top dollar for my trade, no BS...
My wife an I debated Willys JLU or Willys JT
Ultimately settled on the JLU.
We came from a 2014 Willys JK 2dr.
While it would have been nice to have the pickup for when we need it the size for when we don't was the buzz kill for us.
We still have to parallel park from time to time.
My wife...
I drove through MOAB a few years ago when I took my son to CA for grad school.
It was a beautiful night end of August and the town was hopping.
Right then and there I put it on my bucket list. Would've stayed at the time but we were in my son's Subaru jeep was back home with the wife.
I was...
Who buys a hemi for the gas mileage.
I didn't think gas mileage entered into the buying equation.
I saw a TRX at my dealer the other day and all I wanted to know was the price
It was 94k, the wife who was with me said no.
Waiting for a Willys, the one based off the sport S.
Didn't want nor get the nanny stuff as I don't use it. I didn't get heated seats as I've had them but didn't use them.
I also didn't get the proximity door locks as no one in Maine locks their doors.
Coming from a Willys jk which is old...
