Fishbone mount and an ABC extinguisher. Haven't had to use it (thankfully) but like the setup.

A 2.5 lb. bottle, on the driver's side rear, in a Bartact carrier. Proves that soft tops can accommodate a fire extinguisher in this location, in contravention of occasional suggestions that it can't.

In my 23 Wrangler Rubi 2 Dr.

The mount is a M.O.R.E. mount and the Fire Extinguisher is an Amerex 5 Pound.

That is the right way to go but pricey.

Yes and most likely it’s not enough to save a Jeep with a fire already underway. That’s what insurance is for. But it could help keep it from spreading

I don’t disagree, an engine compartment fire you might as well just step back. The reason I carry one is because I drive a lot of old roads rarely traveled and usually have a strip of tall grass between the wheel tracks. In the case of dry tinder laying between a skid plate and hot exhaust you have a chance of extinguishing a fire if it is foreign material and not the Jeep itself, if caught early.

One in my 392 hooked to my compressor mount.

My JK mounted with a Fishbone
