If you haven’t actually laid hands on an element e50, this will give you a pretty good idea of size.
Perfect! I like the small size and light weight. Jeeps tend to gain weight quickly and easily with mods and gear. I'm obsessed with keeping the weight down as much as possible, so this thing fits the bill beautifully. Nevermind that it appears to outperform traditional fire extinguishers, too.

Does anyone with an Element E50/E100 have any actual experience with them? I did a little YouTube research, and all the videos I came across are sponsored. I'd like to see a good A/B comparison with similar fires not run by the mfg. The size is appealing, and if you think about solid fuel, it makes sense, but performance when it comes to safety equipment matters more than packaging. Unbiased reviews with tests that validate assertions would be great.

The element e50 sounds very interesting.

I agree tests like that would be great, but I understand why they don’t exist. It’s a relatively new product, and it’s a one use product. To do a video testing them like that would be very expensive to do, unless it was sponsored. And once it’s sponsored, you introduce bias.

After scouring the net for an hour trying expired coupon codes I somehow ended up on the element fire homepage and saw a boxingday2018 code for half off a 2nd unit - with free shipping it came to 119 for two e50’s. Thanks @BillG for the info!

Hope we never have to use them, but there’s nothing that will beat them for size and weight, plus they don’t need checking.

To any that order an e50, it’s basically like a big road flare or Roman candle. It’s construction is plastic and a really thick cardboard. Due to its size, weight, and construction, be careful in your mounting and storage. I’m sure a larger dog would find it the perfect size to chew on!

Any idea how long the code will be good? I'm broke for another week and a half, thanks to Christmas.:(

Think it’s a one day thing, and over now.

I'm showing it in the cart right now at 1:26pm Eastern. It probably ends at midnight Pacific. Dang it.

Thanks for the code for Element! I had been waiting to order (no particular reason) and this tipped me over the edge.

Off topic, but could you give me some info on your liner that covers the back seat and storage area
That’s made by Canvasback. You can find them online. A little pricey, but perfect fit, and many material patterns are available. A little slicker than I would choose, but wears like iron. Canvasback.com
