Sunday my 11yr old daughter wanted to go skiing. Well, I wanted to go wheeling. So we compromised and did both!

Looks awesome. So if you could, go ahead and hit that remote start button, ima need you to get that steering wheel warmed up for me if that’s even possible in that climate.

Far and away the best jeep video I've ever seen! Especially impressed to see her make the turn under tow.

A coworker grew up on a farm in Northern California and by age 11 was driving every vehicle... different way of life!
Me, I remember the guide's orders when we crossed a frozen High Sierra lake during a spring tour: "follow my tracks exactly". Thicker ice in Alaska!

That appears to be a great spot for sporting. How thick is the ice? One might bring their auger and tip-ups for some tasty perch on the grill.

Thanks Bob! It was a last minute idea that ended up working really well despite her being on race skis and not powder skis. She skis over 80 days a year and is really dialed in. Once I stopped towing she said I was going way too slow and next time to go faster!

We didn't auger the ice but people have been driving out there since mid January and the last two weeks it has been really cold, down to -38F at one point. So the ice must be 2'-3' thick. But glaciers are active so have to watch out for pressure ridges and spots that ice bergs have rolled....

I wondered about the ice ridges. I've only seen those kind of big ice blocks when crossing East Sierra reservoirs in the Spring after DWP lowers the water level prepping for melt runoff.

Okay, not going to lie. This is one of the coolest and coldest Jeep are used for awesome things with our kids video ever made. This is embracing life. Your daughter is beyond cool. You have raised her right. She is awesome. This is what great parenting looks like.
