I carry a solid recovery/repair kit, but I’ll admit that I sort of rely on knowing guys like you are out there for the kitchen-sink stuff.

It's a shame he won't trade the Jeep in a Toyota. I mean he says that Jeeps are so bad so go trade it in on the Toyota and let us know how it goes. He needs to just put his money where his mouth is and get it over with.

I just don't get the refusal to admit that these issues can be overcome on the trail with basic knowledge gathering. Like, a situation can't leave you stranded if you know how to handle it.

For the record - I wouldn't own a Wrangler if my wife didn't love it so much. I don't dislike it, it's can be a lot of fun. But for me it's not worth the cost (both monetarily and added stress of the issues that come with it). I can do anything I could ever do with the Wrangler with other, better built vehicles. This experiment of ours is for her. She's happy so far. Once she's no longer happy, our Wrangler will be gone.
