I’ve never been off-roading and I have never enjoyed a vehicle as much as my wrangler.

I try to keep about a 50/50 ratio of helpful posts to dumbass posts. I’m afraid my helpful post count may be falling behind lately.
Oh it's just funny because two out of the three vehicles that I own have solid front and rear axles and I've owned a vehicle with at least one solid axle at all times ever since I've bought my first vehicle, I've owned sports cars, pickup trucks and SUVs of all flavors and I'm pretty brand agnostic as it goes. I'm pretty well experienced with all kinds of different vehicles and suspensions and how things are supposed to be and how different cars drive. Add into that my experience as an aviation mechanic... Pretty sure I understand mechanical concepts and principles pretty well.

So when somebody tries to explain it to me like I don't know what I'm talking about I can't help but just to ignore them. Especially when they regurgitate basic facts that any moron could find on Wikipedia.

Having said that I'm just as much a stubborn smartass as anybody else.

Just a linguistic attempt to out-hyperbole the OP I think.
Naw there was some real frustration in that post.

One of these days just for fun I'll post the list of people I've ignored. Some fairly well known members at that. Problem is they think that because they have a lot of post or one or two useful post that everything they say is gospel all of a sudden. Just because the sun shines on a dogs ass every once in a while doesn't mean those assholes need to be seen.

Sad thing is none of them will see it

@autotragic - it's a shame you use the ignore list. It's so much more fun to just show up in threads with them and be an absolute douche.

It's a hard balance for sure. I really love fucking around, but I also like Jeeps and I like helping people to like their Jeeps. That's why I usually wait for a doom and gloom thread or a vehicle comparison thread to swoop in and be a cunt.

The ignore list is ridiculous anyway. As soon as someone who isn't on your list quotes someone who is, they see the post anyway. Besides if you don't value their opinions, you can just choose to not read, or even read but not care what's written. No artificial safe space necessary.

Eh, it's useful for folks who are annoying but not worth trolling. Like well intentioned folks who incessantly post the same shit - "ChEcK yOuR fUsEs" and that ilk.

Plus why miss out on all the righteous indignation and internet posturing. It’s always good for a laugh.

No those are the people that make me sure there was a mistake made when MENSA denied my application.
