Definitely on my list. Did you use the oem plastic rivets? Spendy buggers but never have found non oem plastic rivets that worked as good

Looks good. Considering these as well.
I would 100% recommend them. They look great and help cut down on crap getting flung up on your jeep. Also, relatively inexpensive and super easy to install.

I used some off Amazon for mine and they worked perfect! I think they came with them when I ordered but somehow lost them before getting around to doing the install. https://www.amazon.com/Rexka-Compat...B08R244ZDQ&psc=1&ref_=pd_basp_m_rpt_ba_s_1_sc
I have that same rivet kit and found the rivets to be poorer quality than the OEM rivets. not saying they won't work on the lighter extension but they did not work well on my jk flares or my power wagon flares. I will probably bite the bullet and order the oem rivets.

since it looks like you have a Rubicon, it already came with the High Line Flares; are you talking about what Mopar calls the "Spats"?
agreed that the Spats install is quick and easy if you already have the High Line flares, but it's a good bit more complicated if you don't.

that said, i updated my Willys with the Spats for the extra coverage (before the 'XR' was a thing) and have been pretty happy with them; one of the best relatively inexpensive upgrades i've done. (i don't like poke; don't like flinging stuff on my vehicle or anyone else's.)
i did upgrade a couple of spots to use metal instead of the factory rivets, though.

15 minute install, looks great covers tire poke ?

There XR fender flares to my knowledge. They first came out on the XR package.

I loved them when I first saw them. Installed mine about a year ago. They hold up well and definitely cut down on crap being thrown up on your jeep.

Because my home is an RV I have to a lot of times go through car washes. The sucky part is about ever 4th or 5th time causes the two lower rivets to come loose on the front.

For now all I can do is carry extra rivets and put new ones in after they come loose.

the "flares" have been common to a number of trims for quite a while; initially most commonly seen on the Rubicon.

the "spats" were the little bits that attach to the flares, and started with the Extreme Recon ('XR') package.

these are the spats (not "fenders" or "flares");

Cool, they were listed as flare extensions on the "Mopar" online store I ordered from

I put these on my prior rig which was the Mojave trim, just a couple of new holes drilled as the pattern was slightly off and super easy install.

Definitely helped keep the crud off the sides but you can see I had the rokblox as well.

get some OEM rivets 6506007AA and they will stay put. I have tried so many aftermarket/copy cat ones and the OEM are just better. I have had 4 JK's and a power wagon so have a lot of experience trying to save money on rivets only to be disappointed.
