I don't have signal issues unless I'm in the trees or something.

That said, AUDIO QUALITY is poor compared to the bit rates available on Spotify (up to 320 kbit/s)

And their business model of spam and phone harassment for subscription makes me kind of hate them.

When I first bought my JL in April i was having all sorts of signal drops when I had the hard top on. When I switched to the softtop...no signal drops. Not sure if this is coincidence or due to a UConnect update or something else. Guess I will know in the winter.

The poll should include a question like. Does your XM periodically drop or pause? Yes, I like it but it needs improvement

My Sirius XM reception in the JL is a lot worse than in my car, so it's not just the geography. It's worse than an AM radio-tree branches, telephone wires, overpasses, driving on the north side of a hill all cut out the signal. I live in a rural area with few broadcast stations so I use XM but I would enjoy it a lot more if the reception were better. I have the hard top.

You forgot: Good reception - terrible sound quality. Really no better fidelity than AM radio - huge rip off unless you use it for talk shows.

My reception is actually very good and the sound system is also excellent.

In a way it's worse than AM, you get static on AM; my XM goes silent for seconds at a time when I go under telephone wires, tree branches, along the side of a hill, etc.
