Wrangler JL headlight plug

Hey guys. Does anybody know where I can find the little gray slide locking mechanism that is on the wiring harness for the halogen headlight on a 2021 wrangler JL.. it broke when changing the headlight bulb. It’s on the plug that goes Directly into the back of the H 13 bulb. The connector sits inside of the lightbulb housing behind the dust cover. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can check for the wiring diagrams listed somewhere on the site. The wiring harness and connector details are listed for everything. I believe the halogen connector is only a 3-pin type P/N 7283-8852-30 which you can find on parts sites (and even Amazon). Sorry if it's not the right part.

It's a Molex connector. I bought a pair of them from Mouser Electronics when we adapted the JL headlights into my son's KJ.

You probably cannot buy just the clip, its likely you have to buy the entire plug, plus maybe the harness section as well. Just tape it up, you’ll be fine.

Maybe try a junk yard or pick apart. Just find a wrecked JL and cut the plug off with some cutters. Some smashed JL may be on the yard.
