Won’t go into drive.

The other day I started the Jeep. Then tried to put it into drive it wouldn’t move the shifter. Engine was running and I could rev up motor but stereo wouldn’t play and I couldn’t shift into drive. Shut it off let it sit for a minute then fired back up and went into drive like it was supposed to.

Take your phone out and record every single time you start the vehicle and try to put it in drive for the next week or month so you have evidence in case it happens again

disconnect the connectors to the doors like you have them off and try. Sounds like the jeep thinks a door is open amd they wont let it come out of park so you dont idiot kill yourself with a mailbox.

Silly question but did you remote start the vehicle as the first start up? Doesn't the vehicle not go out of park until the start button is pressed?

True it wont do anything after remote start until you press the ign button.
