Wolfbox: Which Size Mirror?

Looking at buying a Wolfbox Mirrow Dashcam, which size should I get for my JLU Rubicon?

If twisting your mirror sideways every time you need to raise and lower your sun visor would irritate you, don’t get the larger mirror. Doesn’t bother me. It does bother my wife.

Same. It also bothers me when she cannot be bothered and just bangs the visor into the mirror all the time.

I just installed the G930 10” screen. Works great but had to add 3 x 1/2” spacers between the new adapter and the Jeep. to make sure it cleared the mirrors. Just remember, this isn’t a mirror at all. The mirror is reflective so it can be used like a normal mirror and the camera somewhere else but as far as I can find, the only way to not have one of the two cameras on is to turn the mirror off, which defeats the purpose of recording. We have lots of snow and the factory reverse camera is always covered with crap. I put my camera stuck to the inside of the back window right where the wiper will clear it and didn’t use the reverse trigger wire.
You’ll need the G930, the JL adapter 179 , the or adapter (not the jeep one I just mentioned) and if you mount it inside, the cable it comes with is good. If you have a 4 door and are mounting it outside on the tail gate, you will need to buy the extended version.

I went with the dash-mount option for the G900 Tripro, using this dash rail system from Bulletpoint and this backplate with a 20mm ball on the back from 67 Designs. (Although it looks like 67 Designs might not be an option any more.) One bonus was that my nerd radio fit on the original rear-view mirror arm with just a slight modification.

I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL 2 Door and installed the Wolfbox G900 Tri Pro Bumper Camera, When it came to mounting this I decided on using a Wolfbox Rearview Mirror Display Mount with 20mm Ball from Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions & Alex Tech Black/Red 1/4 inch Cord Protector Wire Loom Tubing Cable Sleeve Split Sleeving to help hide the cables, 4cm Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Hybrid Mount Arm all mounted onto a RubiGrid Multi-Device Platform Dash Mount. When it came to running the power I used theWolfbox 4A USB-C Hardwire Kit WOLFBOX 4A USB-C Hardwire Kit and wired it to the factory AUX 4 Switch all ran behind the dash, the front bumper cam is installed on a Mopar steel bumper in a position that makes it great for use when on the trail as does the rear cam is installed in a position where it’s also useful on the trail, I also use the OEM backup camera daily so didn’t need another one so made useful use of both cameras, and the mirror itself is mounted lower on the dash and not the Rear View Mirror as this makes it easy to remove when needed, doesn’t bounce around at all, I did use Velcro to help keep it from moving side to side but that was just a minor issue. Just thought I would share my experience and hope to see others.
