I was lucky! Zero cracks or windshield issues for 25,000 miles. So, I decided to drive the Jeep to Tuktoyaktuk, and really show that windshield who was the boss. I got one hit on the Alaska Highway, and a really nice big one on the Dempster Highway. I replaced the windshield with OEM glass when I got home the first week of August. I drove down I-5 yesterday, and have a nice 9" crack. Time to replace the windshield, again.

I have read that the Gorilla glass option isn't worth it. Is there a better option than OEM?

I go with whatever cheap aftermarket replacement is available because it's just going to break again. If I ever want that little Jeep back in the corner of the windshield, I'll get a sticker.

Just make sure you don’t use Safelite…

Not had to do a windshield on my Wrangler, but have put several in my Tacomas. Never had a complaint with Safelite. They did do a chip repair on the Jeep and it's been fine.

Just used safelite as well. Didn't specify OEM and thought it would be aftermarket, but nope, OEM. Seems like a solid job.
