Windshield Replacement at Dealership

Does anyone know if a Jeep dealership will replace the windshield using my auto insurance policy? Or do I have to use something like Safelite?

My thought process was, if they do something wrong with it I'd much rather Jeep be responsible than trying to go through a third party to get it fixed. I also have the active braking, ACC, etc. so I didn't know if the radar would need to be recalibrated or anything.

I'd trust someone who only deals in windshields before I trusted a dealership. Safelite recalibrated our ACC without issue.

Your thought process on this is lets say off.... 8-)

You are far far far better off having Safelite do your windshield install and the ACC calibration. Safelite has the Mopar glass also..

I had mine done at safelite. ……. With recalibration….. Fast, zero Issues. and 100% recommend.

The dealer probably subs out glass replacement.

A buddy of mine had the dealer replace his windshield on a Ram. They charged a fortune and the insurance considered it a collision claim instead of a glass claim.

I recently had to go by the dealership I use several times for a few things. Twice while I was there they were replacing windshields. They sub out the jobs to a local glass company.
I can't speak for other dealerships.
