Should be a 30, That being said, I'm a slap 20% all the way around kinda guy. A bit darker in the back, but nice if you can get away with it.

Had mine tinted last weekend. Rears were measured at 20%. Tinted fronts at 30% which will settle around ~25%. Tinted windshield at 50% to cut down on interior temps in MN summers. They blend very well together.

That’s gotta be 10% or less, guessing 5%. That’s an automatic ticket everyday here in Minnesota..consider yourself lucky! Can you ask her if the tint went over factory or if the factory tit is now in between the window layers.

I had 5% added to the rear windows with the factory tinted glass (rear door glass and hardtop glass) It's really dark. I may have it redone with 20% so I can see better at night. During the day its fine though.

Dang, that looks good, but night driving, in the rain - hopefully not too dark!

That tint looks awesome, instant ticket here too I'm sure. worth looking into though, might get away with a slightly lighter shade.

Here in Texas the front driver and passenger side windows can’t be darker than 30% but the other windows can be as dark as you want. The reason I went so dark was to make expensive equipment/tools that I sometimes carry in the back less noticeable to thieves. I wish they made a cargo cover like most SUVs have.

I matched factory on my Jk and I hate it at night, cant imagine it being darker. It so reflects all the interior lights and is distracting. Not sure if that's normal for tints, or if mine just suck. It has me considering no tints on the JL

just keep in mind the factory glass has some % of tinting added, so any additional tint over that for example 20% tint film, will actually turn out a bit darker at maybe 15% or so. not sure what the factory tint % is on the rear windows. my guess would be 20%.

+1 for going 20% all around, and 50% on the windshield

Also, if you are concerned with legality, speak with your optometrist and have them write you a prescription for your window tint. I've never had to pull it out of my glove box and show it, but it's a nice thing to have.

So are the rear passenger windows as well as the hardtop side AND rear windows all at 30% tint from factory?
