They look fine to me.

As far as removing the tape, it can be a PITA depending on the tap used. But letting it soak in Goo Gone and using a plastic putty knife followed by another soaking and a cheap rag usually works well.

Then clean them very well before applying new tape.

I have used Goo Gone successfully for many types of tapes, stickers, etc. I saturate a paper towel or sponge and work it along the adhesive strip.

Goo Gone always works well for me too.
But I don't think they are too high actually.
I will know better in a few days as I just ordered the same set from Quadratec.

I guess I’ll leave it for the time being
I put mine on today.
They look to be mounted in about the same place as yours.
So I'm calling it good.
I have a Sunrider for the warmer months and thought about mounting these at the top edge of the doors so that they would blend in with the black Sunrider.
But mounted lower they are more functional.

So far they seem to be working great. I get a ton of air flow when I have all 4 cracked open and no water inside. I’ll leave them. Yours does look to be sitting a little lower then mine. unless the picture angle is throwing me off on mine. I love the black out turn signals
