Winch synthetic rope replacement

I have a new Smittybilt 12k winch with the synthetic rope. I trust that it will be fine but I also like to plan for things that could happen. As I look at planning trips to go wheeling, perhaps in places not near civilization I've been giving some thought to a parts kit. That said, I'm sure with proper care this line will be ok BUT I subscribe to the 2 is 1 and 1 is none plan generally, especially when its something I do not want to not have when I need it. Soo to the main question. Are syntetic winch ropes pretty interchangable or is it really recommended to buy a smittybilt 12k factory replacement? I feel like there are others on the market rated as well or more but not looking to find out when I need it most that it wont work Thanks!

Thanks! I've seen that one and have a Factor55 Fast Fid on order but really want to at least know what the replacement options are so I can plan out what to buy. While I will likely repair the line if possible, my fear is being days away from a solution and stuck.

They are interchangeable, based on size, attachment is what differs. Make sure you can attach whatever you buy.
