This past weekend I made a second attempt at putting the winch on using the JCR winch plate. This should have been a 30 minute job, but unfortunately, it wasn't. The winch I used is a Q10000C Quadratec. It's the competition high speed, lightweight winch they make. Starting out, the predrilled winch mount holes don't line up for it due to the narrower spool so I had to drill those myself. Then I discovered that once mounted at the same position as the factory aligned holes, the winch contacted the grill so I had to redrill all the holes. Next fitment to the frame, only one hole lined up with the factory positions so I had to redrill the 8 bumper bolt holes. I didn't bother with the lower frame holes since they didn't line up either. It took me all day to get the plate to work and get it all hooked up, but it's on.
