You couldn’t order a Willys 392 until May 1st, and I haven’t seen much progress on here lately from those who did order.
I was so close to buying something else today. The only thing that stopped me was the thought of a Sport/Sahara 392. Does anyone think that is a likely possibility? Or do we have to have M/T or A/T tires on everything….

My Willys 392 was ordered on the 12th, dealer says the order was accepted and that its a good order but no VIN yet or anything showing on the tracker.

My bet is it’s going to be a 2027

I agree. Strangely, no confirmation yet that the dealer Willys orders were cancelled as previously reported on social media. If they are indeed appearing on incoming dealer inventory, that is an interesting development. Regardless this has been one elusive model.

I would actually be ok with that if someone just told me. Although that would mean the soonest it would be produced would be late July from what I was told about the 27's.

Waiting on Willys 392 SOT
This whole thing has been ridiculous.
Looking forward to seeing what June brings.
I am very close to ordering a '27 Moab with SOT...if that's still a thing.

“The problem isn’t what you know, it’s what you don’t know” and you’re waiting for what you don’t know ? Quite possibly until you can no longer get what you know. … you do know the SOT is a $1300 MOAB option (cheap bastards already raised it $300). You don’t know if it will be offered, but if it is, the Willys price is currently $3300, if not back to $4K for 27. You might even get another nannie or other unknown unwanted crap.
I ordered April of 21 , the XR pkg announced when it was in build late July early August and too late to add. The dealer offered to reorder, there had already been the first price increase since ordering, a 22 would have gotten another price increase plus glorious exit honks, also “Additional California Emissions Equipment” ….. not only unwanted but an additional $8/900 option on free state 22’s. I wisely chose Not to reorder .:whew: . The final cost difference after XR’ing it was the wheels, everything else a wash, and had I waited until tires were needed anyway it would have been nearly an overall wash….. waiting for the unknown is a 🎲🎲

you will get an extra nannie or two. I think the impaired driving tracking features will be included on ‘27s. Not sure what that is, but the customers who get them will be able to tell us

Isn’t some kind of back seat child warning also coming ? I got a taste of it with my 4R having to seatbelt the groceries to keep the warning from going off. A gallon of milk and a bag of chips was about all it took. 🙄

probably. All kinds of things are coming. There are a few of the ‘Nannie’s’ I do like. Back-up cameras are a good idea. Others don’t work so well.

My GMC Sierra can’t tell if a car is parked on a curve in the road so the forward collision warning is triggered in my neighborhood all the time.

My jeep can’t tell if I am turning left at an intersection and there are two lanes I won’t hit the car next to me. If I have the blinker on I get the warning beep.

now vehicles are going to decide if I am too drunk to drive. Does that mean if it does let me drive I can tell the officer…’my jeep said it was ok’

And yet, you still get to pay for it. Using your money for things you do not want or approve of. Just like how I don’t want a front locker or disconnecting sway bars. :)

My GC slams on the brakes when a turn lane on a curved road is occupied. Nearly got me rear ended 3 times before I figured out why. Slow learner now takes the long way home when driving it to avoid one such spot on a frequent route.. 🤨

Nothing new, in 21 if you wanted a V8 you got the whole schbang standard except for tow and tops. Tow later made standard along with everything else possible, even a winch by the FFE.
My 05 4R was the same. The V8 only on the top “Unlimited” that came with everything except a sunroof, some electronics upgrade and maybe the wanted tow. Uhh, except Yota has no true ordering and every one inventoried in the state had them

Did I miss a thread or post on new features for 2027?
All I know of so far is the Dana 50.
I have not heard anything on new safety features.

Just government mandated stuff. Was originally supposed to be by ‘27, then not, then yes, then maybe if the manufacturer wants too. You’ll just have to see when it arrives on the lot what it actually has.
