Nice. Interesting - however - that the $1,895 black hard top is required, thus adding to the Jeep advertised base price. Still a great deal though.

Everyone has been clamoring for a ‘base’ 392. This is pretty close…it will be interesting to see how many people go for it. Even with the addition of a hard top it’s still a compelling price point.

Yes. Very disappointing. And my guess is it will come out on the options list later in the year. Right now I’m thinking a manual transmission Blackwing with the dual Ultraroof would be more fun. I’d be so damn pissed if I bought a Willys now and in 3 months,, the SOT was orderable.

See, all the fuss was just a mild misspelling. Stellantis marketing wasn’t aware ”May” needed the “y” & not the “rch”. Who knew?

Not really, Jeep is good at requiring “trim jump” for various upgrades. Marketing 101. At least now it doesn’t require virtually All “Options” to get a V8. …. Now two, Most, or Nearly All, they haven’t retreated much.

Guess it works cuz SOT is non negotiable so MOAB it is. They could have released the options in march to save some customer frustration.

Yeah, and the SOT is $1K over the standard painted top reducing the extra cost slightly. … the tops and tow were the only *real options in 21. Tow later made standard.
* floor mats, decals, couple other small add on’s optional. XR option late 21, also later made standard.
My son is in a similar situation, wants a black top, but wants the front locker.

I admit, the force is strong.
Kinda digging its looks in Anvil.

We also don't if the Willys gets the trail cam, as shown in the pics, or what the interior will be like?
Will it be the same as the Moab/ red accents?

After going thru the 7 stages of grief, I think I'm at acceptance.
I've already waited 3 months, what's 3 more to find out if they will offer the SOT or what the interior looks like.
