All,

I have read through the searches, Willy's forums and still cant find my answer. I have a 2dr Willys. I understand they have Rubicon shocks, but not springs. I was planning on getting the Rubicon shocks/springs take off deal from Rubitrux. Maybe just throwing the springs on, but will this give me an additional lift? It looks like the take offs come from Rubicon JLU's so I would assume some lift? Just looking for a small bump up and was curious about this in particular. Thanks.

Most will get a 1-1.5 inch lift. I would recommend making sure you get springs 2 numbers higher than what you have. For example, I have spring numbers:

3658 and 3659 Front
3587 and 3588 Rear

So for Rubicon Springs, I want at least
3660 and 3661 Front
3589 and 3590 Rear

I have only come up with this conclusion by seeing what others have posted and gained. I have seen people complain that they only gained 1/2 inch by going up one spring number. Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The 4-door Rubicon springs (especially higher numbers like part numbers ending in 60/61, 90/91) will give 1.5" to almost 2" of lift on a 2-door. My 2-door 2.0T grew almost 2.5" at each corner with the Rubi takeoff tires, shocks, and springs. I'm running the 60/61 up front and 90/91 out back.
