Suspension upgrade path?

Just bought a used Jeep. The tires are pretty worn and I am thinking I want to go with 37s. It is looking like 3500 bucks to get 5 wheels/tires and the fix for the door to carry the spare. I'd like to buy a nice lift kit but I can't drop 6k to get the lift and the tires. Looking at the million options it would seem like you can upgrade as you go when it comes to the lift. Start with blocks,steering stabilizer , upgrade the control arms, upgrade the shocks, upgrade the springs. You can spread it out overtime verse the tires, can't upgrade them one at a time.

If you were going to pick an upgrade path, how would you go? I'll spend more time in a traffic jam than on the trail

If it was me.
1.Track bar brace front and rear
2.Track bars front and rear.
3.Mopar LCA for caster.
4.Spring Spacers and your favorite shocks if you do not want to runs stock with extenders.

You have a rubicon or a sport/Sahara? If rubicon proceed with your desire of 37s. If not a rubicon stick with 35s.
For a starter with no major off roading planned a spacer kit will work just fine. I had the rough country kit on mine for 3500 miles or so. Everything worked fine even in Moab and it fit 37s. I added an adjustable track bar. I had always wanted to do a full lift just didn’t know which one so used the spacer kit as a hold me over until I decided. Went with mopar kit and happy with it after adding track bars.
my wheels and tires were $1750 for a set of 5 37s so do some shopping around unless you want a certain wheel or tire that is higher priced. Lift total was $1300 for me (mopar lift) installed myself. Wheels and tires were $1750 and a tazer for $300 and you can be in a good setup. Spacer kit was $200 and track bars were $200 if you go that route. Same track bars can be used on spacer or full lift.

" It's not complete" is the most said.
If you go Mopar ( i have one ) you should run track bars and track bar braces front and rear.
The AA, AB, AC, AD are revisions. The first kits had problems with spring pads ( bowed springs ). Rock Krawler makes spring pads, that most ( me too ) have used with great results. The last kit AD has new Fox shock part #'s. I have not heard if they are really updated or not.

As stated above. It’s the spring perches that are different but they should be thrown in the trash anyways. I have an AC part type kit that was $1095 off of eBay. If you find a better deal than that swoop it up. Then it needs adjustable track bars to get you axles aligned. I spent $200 on both. $150 for rough country front adjustable bar and $50 for rear bracket from super lift.
Some have mentioned wanting adjustable front lower control arms or correction brackets. I do recommend the rock krawler front spring perches for $30.
People say you can get better lifts for cheaper and then proceed to suggest lifts that are $1000+ without shocks. The 2.5 fox shocks that come with the mopar kit are worth 6-800 alone in my opinion so the kit is affordable for what you get. You can add bilstein shocks for about $400 to these other kits but most are around 6-800. The decision is up to you. Have had no issues with my mopar kit.
