Thank you! What can I do at the lowest cost possible to help improve if needed my sport ride for wash board roads and driving and handling sand dunes? right now my jeep is sitting on rubicon take offs no other mods at all running the 3.6 L Auto 8 speed
Air down, 15psi makes it like a whole new suspension. We've gone as low as 10psi without losing a bead. Beyond that, better shocks will make the biggest difference.

The Rubi take-offs are about the lowest cost mod you can do to make it ride better.

Next step would be to jump into a nice set of shocks and shocks are really one of those you get what you pay for add-ons.

Caveat - Shocks are really one of those personal choice things. Some people like them softer, some people like them firmer. So read people's reviews on different brands or even better yet see if you can ride in someone's JL that has installed the shocks you are interested in getting.

Take a look at the TeraFlex Falcon 2.1 shocks, they've really impressed us with their quality and ride:

The next best upgrade is to go with a matched set of springs and shocks.

@Zandcwhite has it spot on for off-road driving. Air down when you get off road. Just dropping down to 20 psi from street pressures will make a huge difference, not only in ride quality, but also in traction.
