Finally got my JLUR out on some real trails and found that my tires are rubbing on the lower control arms when going in reverse. Yes, only noticeable in reverse. LOL

The setup is:
RK 2.5 X-Factor
37X12.5R17 Cooper SST
DV8 882 Beadlocks (3.96" BS)

I would have figured 3.96 BS should be enough to prevent this. Anyone else seeing this issue on 37s?

That is definitely strange as you have a wheel with less (or is more?) backspacing than what they’re asking for with that lift on a Rubicon. Now is it rubbing one control arm or both control arms?

I’ve got a sorta similar set up running a 2.5” BB with stock arms, Copper STT Pro 37x12.5x17 on Fuel Trophy’s with 4.5” of BS and no rubbing.

If you haven’t already, I’d reach out to RK to find out what’s up with your issue.

First ive heard. I have stock wheels with spacers and im sitting at like 4.5 inch backspace or so. Granted my tires arent as wide as yours but It seems to have a lot of space. Id be curious to know why yours is rubbing with more space. Sorry i cant help much.

I have 17x9 method standards, that I believe are 3.75 BS, on 37x12.5x17 general grabbers and I don't rub my arms at all.
