ordered my fox ts stabilizer & was just getting ready to order the steersmarts yeti relocation bracket, only to notice that it will NOT work with the stock tie rod :headbang:

from another thread here, it seems as though both the Clayton and rock jocks brackets will work with stock tie rod, but which one is better?

seems the rock jocks bracket is a royal pita, having to practically disassemble the entire front end..clayton seems like a quick install without having to remove (some permanent, some temporary) a bunch of stuff just to install the bracket. (this is just from a brief review of the install instructions, perhaps it's not as labor intensive as it appears)

what says the hive?

I have installed the Synergy relocation bracket, and it worked well except for minor rubbing of the shock body on the factory tierod.

I did install the RockJock axle side relocation bracket and that raised the shock enough to solve the problem.

I think that is a good combination. Synergy on the tierod side and Rock Jock on the axle side.

Good luck.

just curious: why a new tie rod bracket? I thought the fox stabilizer came with a tie rod bracket

I already had the Synergy bracket. Yes, the Fox bracket seems to be good. It is held by 4 bolts, vs 6 in the Synergy and SteerSmarts, not sure if that is a factor in it coming loose or not.

On the axle side (track bar bolt) the Synergy design provides a bit ore clearance than the Fox design (button bolt vs nut) but it is a minor difference.
