Yes $80 for delete pipe and $20 for 12” long 2-1/2” ID glass pack muffler from JEGS
Any chance we could get an audio clip of how it sounds?

I like that... installed where? Just before the delete pipe? Did you shorten the factory system to fit it? Got pics?
Cut delete pipe off just past the hanger, cut inlet and outlet off glass pack, welded on delete pipe, used cut off turn down from delete pipe on outlet of glass pack Will send pics tomorrow

Curious.....do you gain any actual horsepower with a cat back system? What would be a good choice of exhaust system for gains but not real loud? I would like a little better sound, but not too much when driving slow as I dont want to make a lot of noise at the ranch during hunting season when driving.

You should check out the Borla "climbing" system.
Thank you for the suggestion. I can't tell which version I like more now though, all three sound really good. I'm leaning towards ATAK though.

I've done similar on two vehicles. It's definitely louder....but it makes the assembly much smaller and liveable in terms of noise. Mainly, I'd be doing it for the space, so I 'm interested in how you laid it out.

If you can get some pics up, that would be great.
Ditto. Just occurred to me I still have the stock muffler so I might also be able rob the expanded inlet off that.... although awhile back I purchased one of the actual tailpipe expanders (not just the remove-dents-rounders from major auto parts) so maybe I can finally put that to use LOL

I don't mind the noise with muffler delete, but if I could reduce it even 15% I'd prefer that, particularly around 2000-2500rpm

I’m running the Borla Climber (S type). Love it! Sound is throaty under load and quiet when you’re maintaining speed!

I would recommend the Magnaflow Rock Krawler, not too loud, great performance and plenty of clearance. Check it out on their website.

I went with the magnaflow 19388 catback and couldnt be happier. I've had it on since Jan. It has the low sound increase under acceleration without any drone and also cleans up the look in the rear as well. Heres a before and after.

Hi Y'all!

Looking to put a new muffler on my 18 JLUS. Looking at the Flowmaster Force II, Magnaflow MF, and the Borla ATAK. Looking for a good deep sound.... but don't want to wake the neighbors up (if ya know what I mean...) Any suggestions? I keep hearing about annoying droning at speed... definitely DO NOT want that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Doug
I first put on the Flowmaster Outlaw & was very disappointed, loved the tone but had a drone that drove me insane! I had a Borla on my '16 JK & it sounded like a rice burner. I ended up with the Magnaflow and couldn't be happier, nice deep tone with no drone. I don't recall the model but it's a duel exhaust with moderate sound. Hope this helps.
