Looking at LCA skids for my 21 Rubicon XR. I am trying to choose between Artec and EVO. Any opinions or are they both good to go? The EVO look like they have a little extra protection on the rear of the lower shock mount...not sure if that matters though.

I went with Artec weld-on when I did mine. They have taken a few hits which only scratched them up.

Good to know. I'm looking at their bolt on option since I have no clue how to weld.

I know you didn't mention them, but did you look at Rock Hard 4x4 kit for LCA skids? They are bolt on and pretty strong. I have them on my Gladiator and putting a set on my 392.

I was looking at them, but they are out of stock at Northridge. I have some credit with them, so I was going with whatever Northridge has in stock.

I put the Artec weld on ones up front and the bolt on versions in the back. Worth the relatively minimal investments, IMO.

Great to hear the Rock Hard 4x4 kit is also recommended here. We're looking to get lca skids next after installing the suspension from 4Wheelonline next week.
