New to JLs long time jeeper,
Trying to figure out what I need. I have a 2020 Sport S diesel, putting a rubi swap with LCA plan to just run 33s.
Looking at the 17 x 9 KMC545 Trek. Question is what offset, 18mm with 5.71bs or -12 with 4.53bs. I would like it to sit flush or out a little not tucked. Thanks for the help.

You'll want the +18 offset if your 33s are the 285/70/17 variety, if it's a true 33x12.5x17 then you may want the more aggressive -12 offset to keep from rubbing on the inner suspension parts. You won't be flush at the fender w/ any of those, but the +18s will be over an inch to the inside vs. that -12.
I run 295/70/17s on 8.5 +10 and here's the fit at the fender~
If you run a 285/70 on the +18 your tire edge would be about 1/2" inside from my set, so almost
flush to the fender :)

i am dealing with this as well. Delaware is fairly strict as far as tire stance outside the fender. Everything in my research shows a +18 will be about 1.7" from the existing tire, which sits in about 3/4" inside the fenderwell to begin with.

I think +18 is as far as I can go, maybe I can get to a +12 and hope to get someone reasonable at inspection time, but it depends on the state's tolerance.

As an example, my neighbors F250 failed inspection for tires being 1.25" outside the fender instead of 1".

Just gonna add this for future reference. I went with the AEV borah that has a +25 after the fuel -12 stick out too far. First pic is the -12, second is the +25

So +18 would be about 1/4” further out + tire sidewall. Maybe 1-1.25” from fender

+18 will be flush in the back and slight poke in the front (stickout), you will not have issues fitting 285Ă—12.5 tires on that offset.
-12 is aggressive ( 295 tire)
