Mm. I admit to being a super purist as it concerns functionality. I was glad to discover that the fender vents on my JLU actually serve a legitimate purpose, and aren't an aesthetic afterthought. (coughRubiconcough)You can buy fake vents to slap on a JK.

I'm not buying the legitimate purpose cover-up story.Mm. I admit to being a super purist as it concerns functionality. I was glad to discover that the fender vents on my JLU actually serve a legitimate purpose, and aren't an aesthetic afterthought. (coughRubiconcough)
yea i'm not a fan of unfunctional plastic, it's as bad as chrome.Mm. I admit to being a super purist as it concerns functionality. I was glad to discover that the fender vents on my JLU actually serve a legitimate purpose, and aren't an aesthetic afterthought. (coughRubiconcough)
Definitely wasn't an 07 colour. That was the year I got my first one, a Greystone Pearl which was discontinued after 07. The weird green colour was also a 1 off colour that year.Uncommon color.....Steel Blue Metallic. Only an option in 2007, 2008, if I am not mistaken. I loved mine. Looked good clean, but looked great dirty.
Wouldn't be surprising. "Steel Blue Metallic" was everywhere in the mid- to late-aughts. That was coincidentally the name of the paint color on my 2006 Ridgeline. The Jeep I bought in NJ was a 2007 with Steel Blue Metallic. So it must have been available part of the year.
Maybe it was not available in the Great White North?Definitely wasn't an 07 colour. That was the year I got my first one, a Greystone Pearl which was discontinued after 07. The weird green colour was also a 1 off colour that year.
Could be, Greystone Pearl isn't on there and mine was definitely that colour. Now that I think about it. We may have had blue, it isn't wasn't very popular maybe? I think Rescue Green and Greystone were only on 07s.Maybe it was not available in the Great White North?
