As many have already stated already
We ALL love our 3.0L Eco-Diesel.
I also recommend strongly to go out & test drive ALL 5 engine options
2.0, 3.6, 3.0L, 392, & 4xe
My 1st Diesel ownership and I couldn't be happier
Here's pics of mine with 35's NO lift on JLURD
315/70/r17 on 17x9 wheels
Best wishes

500ish mile round trip down to Anza Borrego with a few hours of off-roading and a lot of sight seeing. Mix of mountain passes, windy mountain roads, desert highways, sand dunes and washboard trails. Averaged 22mpg and the diesel was solid the entire time. I love having that power on tap. Easily my favorite vehicle I’ve driven, even over my GT500 and I loved that damn car.

Question for the happy diesel owners in the thread.

If you had to order a new Jeep today and couldn’t get the diesel what would you order? I had a 2019 3.6 that was great and I’d do a diesel in the spring if I can still find a new one but assuming I don’t I’m thinking the 2.0T next.
I am waiting for the fully-electric wrangler as my next Jeep. None of the other engines feel right for the kind of wheeling I like to do.
