What do you all think? Problems. Issues ? What do you love about it?
Can you. 35s on the rubi without a lift? Is the diesel available with recon package? Can the. Recon package be added afterwards?

Honestly just search a nearby dealer with one on the lot, then go drive it! The experience will speak for itself, in regards to packages etc I’m not too sure of what is currently available for orders as last I read stellantis is on the way to phase out the diesel so the 3.0 probably has limited options you can really work with, if you go 3.0 there will be no XR package or gearing upgrade or 4x4 all time auto etc etc options as those aren’t available to the diesel, you can always add a lift, wheels etc after! I love mine and I’m doing all the adds and mods I wanted now as I go

Love mine, lots of power and fun to drive. About 10 months in and would buy again for sure. Pretty sure most 35s will fit with some rubbing at extreme flex is what I have read on here.

This is my 3rd diesel Jeep. Two GCs and a JLURD. The only trouble was minor with the 2007 GC. Everything else has been flawless. You get economy and torque and reliability. I hate that the diesel is coming to an end.

I love it. I have a Rubicon and threw 35’s/beadlocks on right out the gate and the diesel didn’t give a shit. Once I adjusted with a Tazer for the tire size it was even better. It pulls like a raped ape on bath salts, I couldn’t believe how fun it was wheeling. The added bonus of killer mileage is just icing on the cake. I’d buy another if I could.

Here’s it with the 35’s and no lift, then the same 35’s with a 2.5” RK lift.

I’m on 37s and never regeared and the diesel is still fun to drive.

I can only imagine. Granted, I’d still regear for 37’s just for oil temp worries and I plan on towing a trailer thorough mountain passes.

Don't get it, it's terrible. Too much power, great MPGs, a very low clatter, odd looks at the fuel pump, and it's too quick on the skinny pedal. Can't wait to get rid of it in 10+ years.

Without a doubt the best engine/transmission combo the wrangler has come out with to date in my opinion. Its the option Jeep should have done years ago, but they waited too long and are now killing it to appease the electric puppet masters. Guess Ill be keeping mine for a long time.

We've only had ours a week but love it so far. The clatter is just right for the Jeep platform, just wish you could hear the turbo. It's quick, solid and the Sahara rides like a dream. Next step is 2.5" lift and 35's.
