What drove your wheel decision?

Two things come to mind::

Beadlocks vs no beadlocks?
I love the look, but never needed beadlocks before. I regularly took my TJ down to 8 pounds. Rarely I did lose some air in spots on rocks, never lost a bead. As I wheel shop, I think OBA would be a better investment than the beadlock price upgrade.

For non beadlocks...cheap or expensive?
I see some good looking wheels around $150...why spend more knowing they will get rock rash?

Best looking , IMO. Easy to clean and versatility. I can use as beed lock or trim ring. DOT approved. Sold by dealer.

First I fell in love with the look, then the beadlock question came up. Do you have the time and patience to mount the tires yourself? Do you have a 4x4 shop you will pay to install them? I realized I would be airing down more to 10-12 than I would 6-8 so I decided non-bead was the play for me. I also absolutely did not want to mount tires myself, I do not have the time or patience to do that haha.

Solid point, I am not mounting tires myself. As I said, I have done 8 PSI plenty. Generally 10...so I personally don't think I need beadlocks.

Also, for anyone with them. Any balance issues?

I’ve run the MOPAR beadlocks and now I’m running Raceline Monsters - neither had any balancing issues.

Mounting them wasn’t bad. You can mount them in about 20 min per wheel.
