I did move many states in the past as an independent consultant in my field and yes, there are not too many tech jobs here but luckily I got a gig with the state. They upgraded their 20 year old legacy systems with the software that I specialize in so working as their tech support.I was not born here but my wife is from algoma (door country town past Green Bay).

What is everyone in metro Detroit getting a JL Wrangler lol. I’ve come across half dozen locals on here now. Owned a wholesale food business for 15 years and sold it. Last several years full time successfully trading stocks. Hobbies: kayaking - 19’ Seda Glider, mountain biking, restoring/moding classic cars - currently 1971 Z28 RS, tent camping - been camping over 200 times - old Eagle Scout, boating - sailing, Sports Sports Sports, and of course stock trading

I built ships for 20 years until an acciendent broke my back...went back to college and received a degree specializing in Enviromental Science and Nutrient Recovery....in my spare time I archery hunt Roosevelt Bull elk in the coast range of Oregon, Blacktail deer hunt in the Valley, waterski/snowski when my back doesn’t hurt and of course spend time with my 5 kids and 4 grandkids... I’m am 50 BTW and love exploring the great Northwest in a Jeep.
