Either way. 3,500lb Will do the trick for me. Its enough capacity to tow a small trailer with a few dual sports in it on a few road trips per year. I just did not understand why the tow package needed a bigger alternator and battery for anything associated with towing a light load like that...

I wonder if that is another reason the 4 door JL tow capacity is rated at only 3,500lb. No additional Trans coolant capacity.
