Plenty of room for two.
I believe it’s called the High roads shelter.
It's easy to set up and plenty of room for two.

I’ll post a picture later of my 2dr packed with the needs of a family of seven! We dispersed camped at potholes st park yesterday. And are heading to lake Wenatchee right now. We’re about 30 minutes away, made a pit stop in Leavenworth for more groceries! Here’s to a hopeful spot!

None... but it pays well.
Traveling alone has its merits. Passenger seat area can store a lot. Cooler (shown below) in seat, tool bag in passenger footwell... and still enough room to storwater and an extra bag of goods.

A roll of 3" Thick x 24" Width x 84" Length 44 ILD upholstery foam cut in half with back seat removed. Trimmed pinch areas to fill the 2dr back area well. Full sized fitted bed sheet tucked nicely. To keep bedding even. Used back seat footwells as storage under the apholstery foam. A duffle bag with cloths and necessities, a large laundry bag to fill with laundry. Tool bag... Heavily modded for CFM and high current 150psi portable compressor, 15' 3/8" air hose, and tyre fill gun, 4000mah battery power center / jump starter, 3/8 drive tool set 1/2" drive torque wrench with 3/8" adapter.

A custom fit winshield sunshade and factory freedom top bag set upright strapped to the head rests, for added light and privacy block. Works very well IMO.

3 Walmart $2.50 black bath towels and a package of 3m clear heavy duty velcro squares from Lowe's (Used on hard top surface above rear and hatch windows to hold towels. For very effective light control.

Love's for gas and showers, walmart for supplies and Buc-ees for just because it has everything.

An old Igloo plenty cool electric cooler/warmer.

Anymore on the compressor? I'm in need of a better one.
That tailgate release is slick looking.

Thanks on the tail gate mod. Many use the longer version of a recliner release. Both function the same but the longer one has a cable you need to adjust. Mine there is no adjustment, just install in a good location. The pull handle is from Homedepot. I think around $2.50. I wanted one a wee shallower on top, but the handle is low enough to allow full closure with fingers still curled in the cup. The hard top rear window won't scrape the tops of your fingers.

Here is a Chinese made dual pump compressor. I stripped it down completely and removed all the stubborn silicone grease. It was not easy with household cleaners. Even turpentine wouldn't clean it. Used plenty of alcohol and tosser shop towels to remove it all. The lubricant of choice is PTFE high temp high pressure white grease. I relubed everything well. Even under the flapper valves. Before I lubed I drilled out and tapped the original fixture holes for npt fittings and cleaned again. Power cable, a marine relay that has rubber shock isolators to switch power. The only off switch only powers the scientific adjustable pressure switch. 3/8" hose. The original 1/4" hose and fittings were tossed. Useless IMO. Too restrictive for flow. I created a frame with 2" corner brackets and 1/2" wide aluminum flat bar. I replaced with proper sized standard fittings and one hand quick disconnects and added heavy duty cables and pressure sensors. One for over pressure if something fails its at 100psi. The electronic scientific adjustable pressure switch can go up to 150 psi. Added some silencer air filters and modded the plastic switch cover to allow a cleaner look with the aluminum side panels. Working on an adjustable mounting arm with finishing panel to mount the adjustable pressure switch.

Any way there is too much to see going on with just a picture or two. A lot of super modding so to speak. Just have to obtain a 5 gal tank to use in short duration air tools. To crack a few bolts free is better than dealing with cracking a few knuckles. Ha! All I can say is when on a battery and free flowing air through the tyre fill gun it holds just under 20 psi. That's around 10v without engine running. This dual compressor has an equivalent of a car starter for a motor. So 90 A draw can be done easily with heavier gauge cables. Like my battery cables.

What it looks like when you get into your friends wallets for about $80,000. They bought Jeep Rubicons and campers to travel with Carla and me.

Looks like someone had to go against the grain and skip the sunrider.

Ive had this Hiker trailer 5x8 squaredrop for about 4 years. Addef the rooftop tent last year to be able to sleep 3~4 people comfortably.

I have a catalytic heater in the trailer (camco wave3) and a diesel heater with a bureck thermostat I can use in the tent or the trailer.

I used to pull it with my 2019 2 door JL. But recently upgraded to a 2025 willys XR as we need more storage space.
