Keyfob laying on top my gym bag in passenger seat. Went around a corner, heard it fly off and hit the floor (I thought)

Looked for several minutes before I found it.

How lucky was I ( check pic)?

Another 3/4" and I wudda been screwed, having NO idea where it was as it would have been hidden under the console.

At least you wouldn’t have had to worry about carrying your key around anymore. You’d just get in your Jeep and it would start every time!

Hard to believe it can happen with a key fob the size of Montana, but the above link will prevent it from happening again.

When I test drove my Jeep I assumed the key fob floated as there was no other logical explanation for its size.

I keep my key fob in my pants pocket.

When I drive off road I get in an out often. Then, I keep the key fob in the key fob holder between the 2 cup holders.

Yeah someone had a DYI around here I think it was tubing I forget, he was wanting to block the "BlackHole" next to seat.
