weird noise when turning slow speed only

Hey guys , its been about a month now ive been getting a rear noise when i turn at low speeds , its sound more like a rubbing sound i guess but not really sure .

i found a youtube video with same issue but couldnt get any info what issue was. here is the link if anyone knows

Just wondering if there is any chance you ran over some old lady and she got stuck and wrapped around the read axle. Sure I hear a woman screaming.....LOL

It sounds like something is rubbing and NOT metal on metal, I don't hear a grinding sound.I assume it coming from under the rear of your Jeep.

How many miles on your Jeep?

It's not a loud noise making it more difficult to isolate.

Does it make the sound equally if you turn right or left. Does it make any difference if you are turning HAR RIGHT or LEFT and does it also appear on a wide left turn?

Jeep has 24000km and only makes it on hard and non hard turns going slow

You got a LOT of KMs on that Jeep.

You may want to take a look at your rear driveshaft the front/Rrear joints may be the culprit.

Then the pinion bearing. It rare they fail, but have you checked your oil in the rear diff. If its low on oil it would make a noise like a woman screaming for sure.

Back in TJ days 5/6 and even 8 in lifts were common and this REALLY put the pinion going up. A lot of guys burnt up rear D-44s.

But there was a fix and you added extra oil to the diff..look at the brass right angle, fil it to the top and you add enough oil to save your pinion from burning up.

Today about the highest lift I see is 3.5 in and most are in the 2.5-3 in so the "Pinion Saver" is not needed.
